Responsible for financial forecasting in support of Business Development Budgets and Activities. A/P and A/R, General Ledger, Payroll, Fixed Assets, Billing and Job Costing. Develop, create and maintain a variety of Access databases and Excel spreadsheets. Passed all audits without corrective measures.

Create and maintain bid database in Access. Review and code creditor invoices as applicable. Produce bids for various projects via MS Binder (using Excel, Word and PowerPoint) from inception to completion. Produce correspondence with little or no supervision. Maintain Bid File room. Support Vice President of the company, as well as other members of the department with all administrative duties. Maintain calendar; arrange travel. Order office supplies. Use internet for searches. Use Lotus Organizer, Netscape, Internet Explorer, and Outlook. Maintain good relations with other departments. Ensure computer skills are up-to-date. Never missed a deadline.

Responsible for Year 2000 compliance – passed without incident. Administer benefits package for employees. Prepare and execute payroll for 70 - 100 hourly plus 20 salaried employees. Check, code and enter expense reports for American and German employees. Assist Comptroller with preparation of billing, accounts payables and general ledger. Review and code creditor invoices. Assist Comptroller with Bank Reconciliation. Develop and administer databases for different applications. Administer local network on Windows NT server. Deal with trades’ people on all levels. Responsible for office and plant repairs. Organize and execute company functions. Supervise and order office supplies. Provide administrative support to the Senior V.P., General Manager, V.P. of Marketing, the Controller, and all other staff. Translate documents, including technical, German/English and vice versa.
