As a Communications Intern at Thinkafication, I am involved with the organization's communication, content creation, and digital engagement. My role involves collaborating with the Thinkafication team to drive our brand's mission forward. By leveraging skills in writing, research, and media relations, I contribute to the development and execution of innovative communication strategies that resonate with our target audience and also reach out to different organizations with similar goals to collaborate on shared projects.

As a Task Force member, I collaboratively work with other members, representing Maryland DECA in a variety of settings. I identify and secure sponsorships to support all events and initiatives, coordinate with judges and speakers for competitions, build partnerships with local businesses and community organizations, and secure internship opportunities for DECA students while raising awareness about the organization.

As an Opinions Editor, I develop and edit opinion pieces for an award-winning publication, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and engagement while maintaining the editorial standards of the publication. I also coordinate with writers to brainstorm and pitch compelling opinion articles, providing constructive feedback to enhance their writing and argumentation skills.

I am a staff writer for Silver Chips Print, an award winning school newspaper. As the only sophomore on the writing team, I work closely with upperclassmen to report on breaking news, write opinion and feature articles, design print pages, and interview experts.

As Editor in Chief of Business Features, I manage bi-weekly newsletter with 700+ subscribers and oversee newsletter cycles. I also supervise a team of 6 writers, organizing schedules, editing news articles, and working with them to enhance their writing skills

As a founding member of the Girls for Business chapter at Montgomery Blair High School, I organize leadership and roles within the team, establishing a presence within the school. I work with our leadership team to create weekly curricula to provide foundational business knowledge to students and create content to spark engagement, supporting students' journeys into business and the professional world.

As a marketing intern, I actively engage with Bytelearn's social media content, creating promotional videos and posts. I onboard users weekly and explore opportunities to partner with PTAs, math groups, organizations, and influencers to further promote Bytelearn.

As Co-President of CAPA JRC, I lead a team of reporters in journalistic initiatives. I oversee monthly publication of the JRC newsletter, work with a team to organize monthly meetings, and spearhead subteam projects. I lead members to interview prominent figures like television host Yuesai Kan, public figure Secretary Elaine Chao, and author Amy Chua.

As an intern at Qi Labs, I help my mentor conduct experiments and organize research pertaining to genetic engineering. Some tasks I participate in include carrying out plasmid editing reactions, conducting PCR, and extracting DNA.

As team lead of the Mindful Mind project, I organize the collection of data on youth mental health in community. I use data analysis platforms to clean data and collaborate with my team to brainstorm possible changes to improve our community. In 2023, the Mindful Mind team secured a research grant following a well developed proposal and presentation.

As Co-President, I help organize events with a team of high school students. At SEEDS, our aim is to allow kids with special needs to be more involved with their peers and community. I frequently volunteer and oversee planned events with elementary and middle school student attendees.

At TheZ, I oversee the editing and posting process of biweekly publications at https://thez.us/. I am also in charge of hosting organizational events. In 2023, TheZ organized a bamboo troupe performance at venues like the Chinese Cultural Fair and World Cultural Festival in DC. The performance was featured in international newspapers like Daily Punjab World and we were interviewed on TV. The performance was awarded a UNESCO certificate and I was invited to the Chinese embassy as a representative of TheZ.In 2023, TheZ worked with representatives across the state to host a Junior Essay Competition, receiving over 70 entries within a month in four different categories. I was awarded a state representative citation and Chinese Cultural Fair award for outstanding organizational work.

As the youngest member of the iFly program, I independently planned and taught in-person lessons to elementary students at a local school in the Jiangxi province of China in the summer of 2019. Afterwards, I worked with other teachers to coordinate virtual lessons into a comprehensive English course, making use of technology and organized presentations to continue teaching effectively in a virtual format.

As one of the youngest junior reporters of the China Press, I wrote articles for the nation’s largest student-run Chinese language print publication. When I was selected as a graphic designer, I designed and formatted the newspaper on InDesign and Photoshop.
