Leading a tax group that is 80 professionals strong, with an annual advisory budget of $10M. The group manages all aspects of Teva's global tax, which includes over 400 legal entities in more than 60 countries, filing more than 3,000 tax returns a year, and significant internal financing and IP structures. As a result of Teva's significant M&A activity and growth over the past 15 years (totaling more than $80B in value), I have gained extensive experience with post-acquisition integration, finance transformation, restructuring and a wide range of tax planning and compliance issues. This includes SAP implementation and the centralization of transfer pricing and VAT process in the newly-formed shared service centers. I oversee all tax controversy matters (negotiations and litigation) and am actively involved in lobbying with governments in Teva's main countries of operations and the OECD to secure tax incentives and limit the adverse effects of proposed tax legislation.
