I am working on my Master's degree from George Mason University, studying clinical mental health counseling. I have been working with children for the past few years and it has been a wonderful experience to be able to get the passport into their worlds. I love to continue my work with children. However, my main area of passion and interest is couple's therapy and marriage counseling. I am interested in cultural impacts on romantic relationships and how they impact overall relationship and life satisfaction. I have also done a study about fear of intimacy among couples during my undergrad years. My experience working with children is greatly valuable because we were all once a child, and there is still a little child within all of us. Knowing how to connect with that child within adults and also teaching them skills to help them connect with that child can do miracles while providing therapy for them. I am always looking for opportunities to learn and grow- both personally and professionally. And I am sure there is always something I can learn from each person I encounter. Let's connect!
