I am the sole Revenue Cycle Manager for the US market of Impress Orthodontics. During my tenure in this position I implemented the roll out and training for our first PMS system for insurance collections, and tripled the amount of insurance collected monthly from prior to taking over.Responsibilities include: Overseeing all insurance collections, eligibility checks, and patient questions or inquiries for 11 clinics across 4 different state markets. Filing insurance claims, following up on missing insurance payments, assisting with all things billing related, collecting all failed patient payments and patient balances, registering us to become in-network with major providers, promptly posting all insurance payments when received, reporting on cash flow and other KPI metrics to facilitate the highest possible monthly revenue collection, monitor payment disputes through Stripe and our third party finance partners and counter disputing when necessary. Lastly, I lead a team of 2 others who assist me daily with completing the patient eligibility checks while the patients are in clinic.Non related responsibilities: Using my former marketing experience, I assist the marketing team with proofing, reviewing and suggesting edits to all ads and social media posts prior to rollout for the US market.
