Growing up in Kansas City, Missouri as an elementary schooler is where I discovered my passion for writing, creating and the importance of dreaming big. Once I realized that people enjoyed what I wrote and how I wrote it, I never looked back. Now, I’m on a quest to seeing my dreams into fruition. While studying mass media at Baker University, my passion for writing broadened and I was able to gain skills that not only improved my writing ability, but opened my eyes to a wide range of topics that others shy away from. I’m honest, creative, determined and I’m not afraid to write the tougher stories that initiate discussion and offer a different perspective.Although I have a passion for writing, I was able to gain a diverse set of skills in digital media, graphic design and editing. I was also able to take a public relations course that helped me explore a different side of media. I’m always open to learning new things and although I have my own writing style and trust my vision, I look forward to working and creating with others. I want to be the best at what I do and I love taking advantage of the challenges that will take me to the next level of becoming the best. Words are powerful and I believe writing and the media industry itself is an art form that has the ability to bring people together, inform and inspire. My goal as a writer and creative mind is to excel in all three things and maybe spark change in the world.
