I am semi retired. I still enjoy designing products if the device is something that interests me. After years of designing solid state equipment, I also enjoy designing and building high end audio amplifiers and radio transmitters using vacuum tubes. Vacuum tubes are more forgiving and they glow in the dark.In the past I have provided both analog and digital design as well as RF Engineering from DC to 10 Ghz. I have Microchip PIC and Renesas microcontrollers expertise. I am very familiar with various types of electronic test equipment including oscilloscopes, spectrum, logic, protocol and network analyzers, function, pulse and RF signal generators. Experience with MATLAB, Ansi C, Visual Basic, Circuitmaker, Traxmaker, Orcad Capture, Altium Designer, ELSIE, EZNEC, Turbocad, MPLAB , Power Esim, Microchip PIC assembly, PIC Basic and Microsoft Office Suite software.
