US Army Futures Command (AFC) – Combat Capabilities Development Command (CCDC) Aviation and Missile Center – Systems Simulation, Software & Integration (S3I) Directorate Responsibilities: • Manage the development efforts of multiple development teams from requirements to final quality testing and delivery.• Develop estimates, plans and schedules for the Aviation Mission Planning System (AMPS) to plan missions for rotary wing and unmanned aircraft.• Meet with customers,Project Management Office and aircraft platform offices, to determine requirements, needs and schedules.• Perform Milestone Reviews – o Kickoff Review– scope, schedule and costs are discussedo Inception Review - scope, schedule and costs are agreed upono Construction Review – status meetings during developmento Test Readiness Review – status of release is presented and approval to proceed with final test is granted o Post Test Review – held after final test, final product is accepted• Hire\ manage personnel to carry out the development efforts. Manage up to 25 people.• Perform as “Product Owner” in the Agile\Scrum development process for each team. Determining development backlog, team goals, setting team priorities. Lead release planning meetings, sprint reviews and retrospectives.• Provide weekly and monthly status\reports to customers including updating schedules, backlogs and burn down charts.• Managed\Coordinated 2 million dollars in sub-contract efforts.• Developed Statements of Work (SOW) and evaluated sub-contractor estimates.• Responsible for coordination and implementation of the CNS\ATM (Communication, Navigation, Surveillance\Air Traffic Maintenance) civilian aviation data for Army rotary wing aircraft.• Worked on development of Foreign Military Sales (FMS) mission planning product. Involved international travel.• Developed mission planning systems for UH-60M, CH-47F AH-64D\E Gray Eagle, Hunter and Shadow unmanned aircraft
