I call alumni and friends of TCU to update their contact information and ask for gifts to the university. I also update alumni and friends about the new developments on campus. My first semester at Phonathon I secured over $5,000 in gifts that will help better the university. After a little less than a year, I was promoted to Training Specialist, which means that I continue calling alumni as well as assist in training incoming callers.

While here, I reformatted and wrote their weekly newsletters as well as assisted with any other marketing or communication tasks.

I worked with the public to help them find books, use our technology, or send faxes. Three years in a row I was awarded for signing up the most children for our Summer Reading Program. Here, I helped plan events for the public such as the 1st annual Movie Festival, Superhero Day, Alice and Wonderland Tea Party, and Star Wars Day. I also helped create displays for different sections.
