Doug is a senior vice president/senior director at NorthMarq Capital and has been a commercial mortgage banker in San Diego since 1997. Doug has arranged over 200 permanent and bridge loans totaling over $1 billion. Properties include: multi-family, office, retail, industrial, healthcare and hospitality properties. Financing sources include: insurance companies, Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae, institutional equity investors, CMBS lenders, and banks. Doug joined NorthMarq in 2009 and earned the senior director position in 2013. Prior to NorthMarq, he was with the same mortgage banking group for twelve years following mergers and trades (Westco to GMACCM to Capmark). Before beginning his mortgage banking career, Doug held positions in accounting; finance director for the City of El Cajon for five years, Sales and Leasing Agent; CBRE and Colliers for eleven years; developer of shopping centers; Price Club Properties and his own firm for eight years. Doug graduated from SDSU with a B.S. in Accounting and has been active in ICSC and NAIOP.
