In my current role I assume responsibility as Project Manager on numerous residential and commercial projects. This encompasses the role of Contract Administrator and Estimator as required in pre-contract negotiations.

Assumed responsibility for a variety of commercial and residential projects. My duties incorporated numerous roles, ranging from Estimator, Contract Administrator to Project Manager.

My responsibilities encompassed the day to day running, as well as future programming for the installation of all FF&E (furniture, fixtures and equipment), to a number of new school project builds in East & South West London areas. Additionally, I managed the relocation of all legacy school equipment into new schools. This role involved the management of up to thirty personnel on site on a daily basis.

Projects / ResponsibilitiesAssumed responsibility in both pre contract and post contract cost consulting duties in the education, health, and commercial sectors as an assistant building surveyor. Projects / RolesEducation:• University of Edinburgh, The New Vet School – new build of science labs, offices and lecture theatre (£25m) – Pre-contract.• University of Napier, Remodelling of Sighthill Campus (£48m) Pre-contract quantative works. Preparation of tender documents. Analysis of tenders.Residential:• Plots 18 and 19 Forthquarter, Granton – new build (£22m) Cost checking of proposed works at a concept stage.• Forthside Crescent, Stirling – Producing a Budget Cost based upon architects initial proposals.• West Lothian Council – External Repair Works to local authority housing stock; undertaking initial external fabric surveys, preparation of tender documents and performing CA/PM role throughout numerous projects as part of the Building Surveying services provided under the framework agreement. Commercial:• Hilton Hotels – FIV (fire insurance valuation). Detailed survey of the property in order, under the instruction of the tenant, so as to adequately assess the valuation of the property should there be a fire.• Ocean Point – office fit-outs. Internal office fit-out works for numerous clients to the Ocean Point commercial office space adjacent to Ocean Terminal in Leith. This encompassed preparing suitable layout options for client approval. Production of tender documents. Tender analysis. And fulfilling the role of CA/PM to completion of the projects on site and through-out the Defects Liability Period.Retail:• Perth Town Centre, Mill Street – Take off and production of Bill of Quantities for a large scale town centre rejuvenation project to external areas and shop front facades.Public sector:• HMP Perth – AutoCAD work to site plans in preparation of the delivery documents.
