About Doug Buffkin

Over my 25+ year career, I have focused on leading high-performing teams and fostering dynamic customer relationships both in the commercial and public sector segments. For many years at AT&T, I was dedicated to delivering integrated and strategic communications solutions to the government as Area Vice President, Public Sector & FirstNet. In support of the expansive federal business, I was inspired and propelled forward by the powerful innovations that helped shape the federal marketplace. Recently I accepted a leadership role with an incredible company called RingCentral to help them in their drive to expand into the federal marketplace. As Regional VP for Public Sector Business Development, our focus is on gaining FedRAMP certification for our Unified Communications and Contact Center products and evangelizing our strengths to help agencies modernize their infrastructure, simplify their communications, leverage the latest technology and most importantly focus on their core missions. I also recently joined the board for an amazing non-profit called Hope to Walk (hopetowalk.org). When you actually witness the impact that a scrappy, smart and focused organization, who puts everything into helping amputees in underprivileged countries, can have on a broken world it is awe inspiring.
