For more than 30 years Doug has specialized in providing service and consultation to businesses and high net worth individuals on all aspects of their risk protection and insurance programs. Doug has worked with all sizes of businesses including national, international and publicly traded firms. He has served on numerous insurance companies’ local, state and regional Agent’s Councils and has received numerous insurance company awards as well as the Business Citizen of the Year and the Mid-Sized Business of the Year awards from the Dulles Regional Chamber of Commerce and Citizen of The Year Award from the Herndon Rotary Club.Doug and HRI have always been extremely active in the community and support many local organizations financially and with their time. He is the founder of the hugely popular Friday Night Live outdoor concert series and has remained the Chairman of that event for 25 years. In addition he is a 1997 graduate of Leadership Fairfax and later served as their Treasurer and a board member. He has served as president of the Dulles Regional Chamber of Commerce as well as Volunteer Fairfax. Doug has been honored with a number of service awards including; Fairfax County Volunteer Service Award, Dulles Regional Chamber Chairman’s Award, Citizen of The Year Award from the Herndon Rotary Club, Town of Herndon Distinguished Volunteer Award and the Chambers Committee of the Year Award.
