This role is about introducing marketing infrastructure and best practice into a small but growing craft beer company. The key responsibilities include building (and establishing) a vivid visual brand identity, growing relationships to progress flourishing brand awareness and owning events, social media, product placement, PR contacts, NPD, internal engagement and activation.

This role involved assisting the brand management of Corona and Stella Artois, with ownership of Budweiser.Key responsibilities included:• Partnering ABI brand owners to develop mutually beneficial breakthrough brand strategies across the full marketing mix and all channels for the NZ market to deliver Lion’s volume, penetration and spontaneous awareness targets.• Collaborating with ABI brand owners, external agencies and other functions across the Lion business including sales, finance, category, shopper, external relations, and supply chain to deliver key projects, including brand communications, below the line campaigns, experiential activations and core innovation.• Helping manage and leverage key sponsorships and relationships with brand partners to drive mental connections. • Managing the ABI brands’ budgets; and• Producing monthly financial performance reports and brand owner quarterly business reviews.

Briefly, responsibilities included:• Best practice sales partnership – qualification in ‘Professional Sales Skills’. • Joint business planning and budgeting – including activation budgets. • Growing the largest customer’s business, earning the Lion business incremental profit. • Training staff – beer, spirits and wine education.
