V. Douglas "Doug" Heideman is a Washington County, Utah native, He was raised in Toquerville, graduated from Hurricane High School, graduate of Dixie Collage and served a church mission in London, England. He went on to graduate with a duel degree from Brigham Young University in Psychology and Business. Doug worked in retail for Skaggs Drug, Osco Drug and then Smith's Food and Drug. for a total of 25 years. He also attended Southern Utah State University to obtain a secondary Teaching certification and taught for 13 years at Diamond Ranch Academy in Hurricane.Every where he lived, he was involved with local and state government. He enjoys researching the issues and was involved heavily with Planning and Zoning in Park City, Bountiful, West Jorden, Price, and Toquerville. He has received numerous citations and certificates of achievement for his exceptional work ethics, creativity, and public service. Doug is most interested in serving on the Hurricane City council for the next 4 years.He and his wife (Debra) of 49 years, have raised three sons and a daughter. Their oldest son is a successful Lawyer and manager of his own firm in Provo. Their second son is recognized as a accomplished Cosmetic Dentist by the Las Vegas Dental Review. Their third son graduated as a Physicians Assistance, and works atan Urgent Care Clinic in Las Vegas. Their daughter lives with her family in Provo, where her husband is a CEO of his own business. Doug and Debra value education and are life long learners as they reside in Hurricane, Utah.
