As a partner at Robinson, Bradshaw & Hinson, my primary areas of practice are business litigation and employment law. I have extensive experience in litigating matters involving noncompetition contracts, employee departure matters, shareholder and partnership disputes, corporate governance, business valuation issues, breaches of contract, landlord-tenant issues, unfair trade practices and business tort claims. In addition, I enjoy counseling clients regarding the avoidance and resolution of pre-litigation business disputes and employment issues and assist with the negotiation and drafting of employment and severance contracts.I represent clients before state and local administrative agencies, the North Carolina Business Court and other state court divisions, and the federal courts, including appeals to the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals and Second Circuit Court of Appeals.I also frequently speak at state and local seminars regarding non-compete issues, employment law and shareholder litigation.
