Headed sales and marketing for Northern Lights into European megayacht and yacht markets. Supervised three regional representatives and several area distributors and dealers.Negotiated machinery contracts with more than 25 major yacht builders. Provided interface between sales and engineering departments. Consulted on power systems, emissions controls, oversight agencies and environmental bodies.Delivered many industry papers on power systems, propulsion and emissions control equipment at domestic and international venues. Worked as liaison between Japanese suppliers and domestic engineering. Testified on emissions control and power systems to US government and EPA committees and panels in Ann Arbor and Washington DC. Traveled to over 100 cities in more than 20 countries in Europe, Asia and the Middle East.Interacted frequently with Lloyd's Register of Shipping, ABS, RINA, BV, ABYC. Worked closely on power, safety and emissions regulations from these bodies as well as IMO, USCG, EMCI and US EPA. Underwent training for and completed John Deere training for HPCR & EUI diesel engine electronic fuel injection systems in 2005.
