That one could make a living thinking, writing, and creating was an epiphany I had freshman year in college, happening upon Oglivy's "Confessions of an Advertising Man." This was the business for me.Since that moment, I've worked at behemoth agencies, creative boutiques, and within corporate marketing departments leading teams and forging lasting client relationships. I've encountered the occasional visionary, and more than a few charlatans, but collaborating with smart people to find smart solutions to the thorniest of marketing challenges will always be a thrill.I've pretty much seen and done it all, but find special satisfaction in and truly excel at evolving brand positionings and bringing a new product/model to market; ie., studying the market, articulating the opportunity, and executing against strategy to get attention, change consumer perceptions, and move the sales needle. Recognizing, understanding and championing great creative is paramount, and has been the cornerstone of my career.
