32+ years as sworn law enforcement officer, including 16 as commanding officer or command staff (4 as Chief of Police).Working at Metro Louisville's Emergency Management / Emergency Services currently.I trained at Walden Theatre in Louisville shortly after it was founded, in 1976. I continued through 1977, when I graduated from high school.Walden Theatre and Blue Apple Players, also founded in 1976, merged in 2015, launching its new name Commonwealth Theatre Center. Began my college career at Eastern Kentucky University with a major in theatre, eventually switching to the University of Louisville to begin my sophomore year. I attended off & on - with various adventures out of the country - until I finally graduated with a degree in Theatre Arts and acting in 1987.As much as I loved acting, I gave it up shortly after leaving college, as I was disappointed that the major Hollywood Studios hadn’t heard of me and come a calling with 7 figure contract deals!😁That was actually a blessing, because I found my true passion in police work, maintaining a sworn position, including chief of a small department, for over 30 years.
