Responsible for the architecture and development of Modulant’s Java-based Contextia software suite using ontology, logical and physical model layers. Activities included determining, prioritizing and scheduling product enhancements, developing and extending the product architecture, serving as the lead developer and mentor on the product development team and managing the software development team.The architecture included Java Swing desktop applications communicating with a central server using Java JMS and serialized Java objects. The server components were built around J2EE components, JBoss, Hibernate and an Oracle database.
