Construction Manager Parsons Creek Grading and Storm Water Management, $28MFort McMurray, AB This project consisted of hauling and placing 1 million cubic meters of embankment across two high-pressure oil pipelines and fiber optic line, using 12-657 scrap¬pers and 6-775 heavy haul trucks across Hwy 63 with a temporary traffic signal across a live highway. Work was performed 24-7 with a 90-day duration and a liquidated damage and included construction of a storm water man¬agement facility consisting of a network of drains, large settlement ponds and concrete pipe. No loss time incidents or schedule delays, in an environment of extreme weather conditions. Delayed Coker Unit Expansion, $22M Fort McMurray, ABThis project consisted of bulk excavation, 286 drill shafts, 26 meters in depth, structural concrete as well as 24-inch HDP firewater line install and Potentially Contaminated Storm Sewer (PCSS). The storm sewer consisted of 20 - 20” reinforced concrete pipes and 8” epoxy coated carbon steel pipes. No loss time incidents.

Construction Manager USACE Army Corp of Engineers /Napa Flood Control DistrictNapa Valley Wine Train Relocation and Flood Protection, $90MWorked closely with the Army Corp of Engineers and City of Napa Flood control to perform storm water prevention to the site including installing underground improvements on 3 cross streets and digging out water ways and swales to prevent storm water runoff and turbidity.One mile of rail relocation (35 feet West and 5 foot elevation rise) while simultaneously replacing 1 river bridge, 2 dry bridges in addition to underground infrastructure in 3 major thoroughfares in downtown Napa. Maintained public access to downtown businesses and continuing operation of existing railroad. Created positive business relations with downtown merchants and public outreach. Worked 950 days with no loss time accidents.Superintendent Redwood Road Slide Repair – FEMA funded, County of NapaEmergency slide repair including construction of a Soldier Pile wall and 250 ft. Burrito Drain above a river with one-way traffic control. Fine grade and pave.Project completed two weeks ahead of schedule.

Superintendent Lennar Homes – West Valley View DevelopmentSupervised 1200 home project in El Dorado Hills. This was a 1,000 acre jobsite which included supervising 3 underground contractors, 3 joint-trench contractors, 4 wall subcontractors, an onsite rock plant including Class 2 AB, type 1 and 3 RSP backing for rock lined ditches, and 3 drill and shoot subcontractors. Maintained relationships with six developers. We were under a “zero dust tolerance” requirement and had to maintain strict water quality requirements with the State of California Fish and Game, El Dorado Irrigation District, and DOT present on jobsite at all times.
