Financial Education Coordinator And Counselor
Community Capital Resources
For the past two years, I served as Financial Education Coordinator for Community Capital Resources (CCR) a not for profit in Westchester County. I wrote curriculum, created power points and doing presentations which took place but not limited to local government agencies; other not for profits, such as the United Way; schools; colleges; and housing projects. Most of the work was directly with clients where I would help them one on one with their financial issues such as credit reports, scores, dealing with bill collectors, and advising them on how to make money on their existing assets.Prior to CCR, I taught in social studies at Croton-Harmon High School for over 30 years. I was Department Coordinator for ten years and was Treasurer of the Union until I retired. Along with my teaching duties over the course of the 30 years, I also coached football, basketball wrestling, cross-country, lacrosse and volleyball. I was also faculty advisor for the Mock Trial team and Fed Challenge team.
