Principal Produce Manager for mobile, desktop and MS Office integration products for Syncplicity, an Enterprise File Sync and Share leader in Santa Clara. Syncplicity allows large global companies to have a hybrid cloud + on-premise solution for secure file synchronization, file sharing and backup. My role combined UX with customer-focused product leadership for cloud and enterprise technologies. The eight products in my portfolio included leading enterprise sync and share apps for iOS, Android, Windows Mobile, Windows and Mac Desktop, as well as multiple Microsoft Office integrations and Add-ins for seamless multi-user workflows.• Created workflow features that helped Syncplicity more than triple its install base in less than a year. More than a third of a million customers are using features I managed.• Managed design and delivery for 34 customer-focused product releases in less than a year, with a roadmap covering a dozen more.• Partnered with Microsoft to design and deliver the first universal EFSS Outlook Add-in using a new Microsoft cross-product Add-in API.• Moved product delivery to a monthly release cadence, resulting in rapid iteration on mobile and desktop.• Designed "App Tab" integration for MS Office on desktop computers, to enable real-time collaboration and avoid file collisions. Deployed to over a quarter million users in the first few months.• Designed transformative technology for seamless online/offline access to massive file sets, and negotiated external partnerships to speed development.• Created robust approach to mobile device management (MDM), giving new security options to the world's largest companies and a spectrum of solutions for managing data on mobile devices.

Working with others on early-stage startup concepts including Assembl (meeting planning using beacons), Stori (interactive, immersive storytelling) and others. Investigation, prototyping, business planning and product development. I also took on management consulting projects during this time, working with companies that were transitioning from desktop to cloud deployment, companies dealing with offshoring development stresses, as well as companies changing from perpetual licensing to subscription licensing models. Companies undergoing these kind of changes often need to work through a long list of technical, leadership, personnel, strategic and tactical challenges.

Led operations at Lanica, Inc to create a next-gen mobile gaming framework atop Appcelerator's Titanium platform, plus a subscription suite of gaming add-ons and applications. We used the platform and its tools to port existing games for major third party companies including Disney.Lanica was the first startup to get seed funding from Appcelerator. I worked on a broad spectrum of the company from engineering and process management, to people and financial management. As co-founder I pitched to V.C. firms, negotiated with clients and partners, and defined business strategy. I also set up and ran the user-facing and cloud infrastructure, including the website, sales and payment systems, software subscription portal and customer service.
