I am first and foremost a visual storyteller. I have been a Media Production Specialist for the last decade, working on a range of projects from television shows and commercials to large live-feed events and documentaries with such agencies as NPR, Lockheed Martin, ABC, Al Jazeera and Google. I started seriously filming 10 years ago when he started EcoTravel Media and set off on a world tour to encapsulate Ecotourism across 6 continents, trekking through 30+ countries and counting. 5 years ago, I started Don Video Productions and relentlessly ventured into almost every niche of the industry. From small scale digital advertisements to TV shows and feature films, my team and I apply the same ambition, experience and creative insight across the board.For the past four years, my main client has been National Public Radio where I have helped bring their journalistic style into the world of visual media by means of filming, editing and producing their live productions. Beyond honing in technical skills through various projects, one maturing constant in my freelance experience is my management skills. From conceptualization to casting, filming with the utmost attention to detail and premiere post production techniques, I learned to successfully grow my clientele to build a healthy network, manage my company’s finances and expand my equipment base and business. As I have worn all these hats, I acquired the ability to manage multiple projects with exceptional prioritization skills to meet tight deadlines and budgets. With a background heavy in all facets of video production, I excel at furnishing fresh visual content with an ever-evolving technique.
