We sell custom-made clothing but the unique factor is I meet with clients at their office or home to make shopping convenient. I do everything from suits, sport coats, pants/shirts, shoes/belts, and business casual wear. Tom James also owns Holland & Sherry, makers of some of the finest cloth in the world, and Oxxford, the only hand-tailored clothing shop in America. My business grows by word of mouth and referral; Tom James doesn’t advertise or operate brick-and-mortar stores—two major expenses that I don’t have to pass on to my clients. Promoted to Assistant Club Sales manager within 6 months. Averaged 60 membership sales per month for 3 years. Involved with interviewing and training of new sales people.This was my initiation into the world of direct sales and helped me develop the ability to talk to anyone regardless of their job title, stature, or situation. Successfully ran all adult and youth leagues including: basketball, volleyball, indoor soccer, and corporate court rental. Helped negotiate summer contracts for University of Kentucky Basektball Camp, Kyle Macy Basketball Camp, and Transylvania Basketball Camp.Developed the nations largest summer high school basketball league, co-sponsored by Adidas shoes, from 32 to 65 teams in 4 years. These high school leagues were sanctioned by the Kentucky High School Athletic Association and included actual Kentucky high school teams and referees.
