# 3 Employee for small EDA (Electronic Design Automation) company. Hired to develop a commercial Parasitic Extraction software tool to market to advanced chip designers. Built and led the development team, chief architect and designer of Columbus parasitic extraction tool (still in production today). Implemented several key program modules in C++. Responsible for several spin-off products and next generation extraction tools, as well as keeping the core products in step with the latest chip fabrication technology. Manage a development team that has ranged from 5 to 16 engineers including overseas teams in China and India. Hold 3 US patents in the area of parasitic extraction.

Merged with Sente, Inc and Sapphire in 2001 to form Sequence Design

Responsible for building an engineering team tasked with integrating existing Synopsys product lines. Worked extensively with technical marketing, field organizations and internal development groups on specifications. Led planning and design sessions and was ultimately responsible for the overall design and architecture of the project. Built a team that ranged between 5 and 10 software developers and oversaw implementation and test. Interacted directly with customers during Beta test and product rollout.

Co-founder of start-up Computer Aided Design (CAD) company. Helped build the engineering team and lead the design and development of a new commercial CAD tool. Involved in all areas of product development from design to implementation and testing. Worked extensively with field organization to support sales and interact directly with customers. Managed multiple groups of up to 12 engineers.
