Authored the Corporate Electronic Document and Record Management StrategyMBIE had performed a technical consolidation of several ECMs and file systems into OpenTextContent Server during the formation of the agency. Usability, economic, and informationmanagement improvement prompted the need for a comprehensive investment and capabilityroadmap. As part of developing this strategy a number of ECM platforms and related products(OpenText Content Server, EMC Documentum, Microsoft SharePoint, Oracle ECM Suite) wereinvestigated in terms of functionality, economics, integration, and usability. Hosting (includingGCIO Capability as a Service options), integration, and mobility were incorporated. A suite ofdocuments presenting the strategy for different audiences were created. During theorganisational analysis a number of related and unrelated opportunities were identified and thesewere catalogued for follow up.
