While training as a program manager, acted as a subject matter expert (SME) to successfully interface weather systems with several AF command and control (C2) and mission planning information systems for combined air operations centers (CAOCs), including foreign military systems. Wrote a successful funding proposal for software to overlay weather information onto AF systems used by unmanned aircraft systems, including collaboration with finance staff to develop cost estimates using work breakdown structure (WBS) and creation of an integrated master schedule to fit funding level and time constraints in the proposal. Managed and guided integration of a major AF weather system in a NATO demonstration program which successfully led to an interim certificate to operate for the weather program, paving the way for the system to be deployed throughout the AF.
