With over 20 years of marketing and operating experience as both a principle and corporate executive, Douglas Cooper has spent his career developing and marketing innovative and disruptive beauty products using an omni-channel strategy with a focus on direct-to-consumer distribution.In 2011, Mr. Cooper became Managing Partner/President of IP Brands, taking the company from a Research & Development/Private Label Manufacturing company to a Research, Development, Incubation and Consulting company, with equity ownership in multiple brands. Under Cooper’s leadership, IP Brands has incubated and launched disruptive and award-winning brands such as WUNDERBROW (2014), WONDERSKIN (2019), Westmore Beauty (2015) and most recently, l.a.b. Light Activated Beauty (2023). These brands have generated over $500 million in sales on a global basis. In 2001, Mr. Cooper partnered with supermodel, Lauren Hutton to develop a line of cosmetics targeting the 35+ woman. Mr. Cooper served as Chief Operating Officer through 2010 and ran the day-to-day operations of the company and oversaw strategy, marketing, and product development. The line launched via home shopping in 2002 with tremendous success and grew into a leading electronic retailing cosmetic brand. In 2005, the company developed a direct response television campaign for the brand that generated over $40 million in revenue in 14 countries. Under Cooper’s charge the company generated over $70 million in sales, almost all through direct-to-consumer distribution.
