Doug is the Executive Director of Polyphony Music Resources, a network for church musicians [www.polyphonyresources.org] and he is a consultant with the Center for Healthy Churches [https://chchurches.org].Doug Haney has served as Minister of Music at Wilshire Baptist Church in Dallas and Providence Baptist Church in Charlotte as well as churches in Mississippi, Alabama and Georgia.. Most recently he served Wilshire as Associate Pastor/Minister of Music where he led a comprehensive worship and music ministry. In this role he worked closely with pastoral residents leading Theology of Worship and Practice of Worship seminars annually. Doug has spent years facilitating worship and thinking about how worship can be done with excellence so that the people in the pew will experience God who is the audience of our worship.In addition to his life-long vocation as a church musician, beginning in 2020 at Wilshire Doug served as an Associate Pastor with responsibilities for Human Resources, Finances and Stewardship, and Facilities. He is a Certified Church Administrator (The Church Network) and has been trained as an Appreciative Inquiry facilitator.
