Used high speed manufacturing KPIs to drive risk assessment project for a Rutherford can decorator. Identified key areas of concern and developed strategy to mitigate hazards involved with the decorating process. Collaborated with 4 other engineers to design a production line, from scratch, for thenext iteration of the X-ray medical device, which included 12 workstations that facilitated assembly and testing. Expedited the production process by prototyping production fixtures and testing assembly methods for efficiency. Drafted and finalized work instructions for the device after experience building testing units, including the X-ray emitter and receiving plate. Finalized work instructions and the optimized production line and fixtures were presented to contract manufacturers to outsource high-volume, low-cost production.
