On call Serving position, working at banquets and different events throughout Los Angeles. Last year I worked the Emmy Awards, which was pretty fun.

Everything. Literally- this charming little theater was the kind of place where the actors were also the set construction crew, and often helped with costumes, or lights, etc. I also learned quite a bit about how the business side of a theater is run, from putting together seasons and assigning directors, to the logistics of promotion and advertising for shows. Oh, and I was on stage a few times. I love that place.

Began as a dishwasher, and eventually worked through several promotions to become the Lead Cashier and Assistant Manager at this fast casual Italian restaurant. My friend's parents owned the place, so I started working at a very young age, and that taught me many important lessons and valuable job skills. I learned how to work in a professional kitchen (food prep skills), as well as learning cash handling, basic bookkeeping procedures, and efficient opening/closing duties. I worked there for almost seven years before they sold the place and the new owners decided to bring in staff from another restaurant.
