With an undergraduate degree in graphic design and a master’s degree in business administration, my professional career has involved into the successful implementation of brand consistency, integrity, and recognition in all forms of communications channels.After I graduated top of my class in 1999 from the Corcoran School of Art and Design, I got my first job at a small advertising agency that gave me the opportunity to learn all aspects of design and production. From the development of strong concepts, aesthetically pleasing designs, client and vendor management, my mentors from a small agency called Bloom and Mertz taught me all aspects of a project cycle.I was then given an opportunity to work at NASA headquarters as a Senior Designer in web design and multimedia. Here I had pleasure of applying all of the design principles and quality control techniques into digital platforms. Media and applications change, but the principles of impactful visual solutions that evoke emotions and drive behavior are the same.Worked as an Art Director in an advertising agency, Fahey/Davidson. Here, I worked with talented individuals that gave me the opportunity to work on new business proposals, account management, and content and visual integration. The Association of American Medical Colleges gave me the opportunity to champion brand consistency in all forms of communications channels. Overseeing elements as diverse as traditional print design, web design, social media, digital advertising, and HTML emails for marketing, info graphics, and publications. With an exceptional team of designers, I had the opportunity to create visual style guides for brand recognition.
