As Product Manager, I have had the pleasure of leading a team of 5-15 department heads and employees as we revolutionize the financial world. My background in Software Engineering has been a great benefit to our team as I mediate the relationships between tech and other stakeholders, with overall fewer miscommunications. I highly value team work and desire to create an inclusive work environment, while also giving our consumers the best working product possible. I have loved finding solutions for the issues our consumers face, and have thrived bringing the team's creative ideas together to form an actionable plan. Our CEO has had a clear vision of the direction he wants our company to go and I built a 1.5 year product roadmap. The roadmap balances the critical path while also delivering solutions that drive user growth and increase revenue.

I worked together with other BYU students to create and deploy new features on BYU's Learning Management System, BYU LearningSuite. I primarily contributed by building new types of questions for professors to use in the exams that they host on LearningSuite. This included building all of the views for professors to create the question, wrapping the information from that creation in a model, and sending that model object to be stored in the backend. This also included retrieving the question from the backend on the student side when taking the exam and creating the appropriate views for the students to take the question. There are also many other scoring and statistical tools that I contributed to for these new question types. These question types include a photoshop like question, where professors upload an image and plot areas on the image for students to click on. This involved creating 12 tools similar to photoshop that professors use to make plotting areas easier. I have developed an in-depth understanding of JavaScript, AJAX, HTML/CSS, and some experience with PHP.

I was responsible for meeting with several departments of the church organization to propose our platforms as the solution for their communication needs. The platform that we offered them was Microsoft's SharePoint Online. I was responsible for creating and deploying these solution sites or tools for the departments. These solutions involved a church-wide calendar for every department in the church to be aware of scheduled events and product deployments. I also created a site for all product management teams to be able to collaborate and share information easily together and many others. One of our main focuses was migrating all department sites from previous versions of SharePoint to SharePoint Online. I provided training to our team of developers on Sharegate, the tool we used for this migration process. I was involved in the migration of many sites either as the primary developer or as a consultant to other developers on our team.
