I operated internal and external payloads on the International Space Station. In addition, I was responsible for deploying cubesats from the Space Station. I also the investigation of a cubist deployer design flaw and lead efforts to recertify their return to service.

As the the Chief Engineer, I aided in the development and testing of prototype of a new aircraft design. Initially my duties included designing, creating, and reviewing CAD drawings which were used in securing four US Patents. I also wrote requirements for the development and flight testing of the prototype vertical takeoff and landing aircraft.

In my duties as a flight controller, I was responsible for planning, developing, and executing real-time operations for human spaceflight. I did this while preserving crew safety, spacecraft safety, and mission success. I specialized in proximity operations and rendezvous as well as deployment operations and contingency operations for the deployment of satellites from the space shuttle payload bay.During the Space Shuttle Program, I served as a Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GNC) Flight Controller responsible for developing, analyzing, performing, and leading flight and ground operations for a broad range of mission scenarios and flight systems. I provided expertise for Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GN&C) systems with detailed knowledge of various GNC sensors to flight directors and engineering counterparts. I provided real-time support for 14 missions through all phases of flight. I was GNC FCR certified. I demonstrated the ability to maintain cognizance of real-time operations and integrate GNC system operations with other control team members. I have performed in-flight analysis of GNC operations status, in-flight malfunctions, and contingency situations. In these situations, I recognized additional system failures across multiple systems and developed workarounds for these failures.
