Neutral Wireless is a spin out company from the University of Strathclyde focussing on private 5G RAN solutions and DSP/FPGA consultancy and training for industry clients.

Worked as a research associate on industry & govt sponsored projects including DCMS funded 5G RailNext, which successfully trialled a private 5G network for delivery of internet connectivity and AR/MR advertising on the Glasgow subway. Undertook a post doctoral research project investigating receiver beamforming algorithms. Was also involved in classes and supervision of project students.

Conducted research & provided assistance for undergraduate classes in digital systems design. First draft of PhD thesis was completed at the end of this period.

Was part of the comms/signal processing HDL Coder team at Mathworks in the Glasgow office. Worked on implementation of a frequency synchronisation algorithm for an HDL LTE receiver.
