Whilst at university I tutored high school pupils in the STEM subject areas as they worked towards their Higher and Advanced Higher exams. My role as a Customer Service Assistant in Sainsbury's Partick store required that I work alongside my colleagues to ensure a fantastic level of customer service was maintained. I worked in several departments, including checkouts and the fresh deli, meat and fish counters and at times was the responsible individual in charge of managing these counters. This allowed me to see multiple aspects of the business at play and was a great opportunity to enhance communication capabilities through customer interaction and act as both a member and a leader of a working team.
