Organized, hosted, and led 2015 meeting with 30 New York State and local government officials, scientists, and other stakeholders to lobby for funding and policy initiatives. Results: $10M annual increase from $3M in New York State funding for invasive species in the Park. Motivated local officials to create a cohesive policy and dedicate funding and resources for awareness, prevention, and remediation.• Vision Fundraising Committee. Member of Special Vision 2050 Fundraising Committee tasked with raising $3M to fund the development and implementation of our 30 year vision of the Park. This follows our prior 30 year Vision 2020 which had significant impact on policy and regulation in the Park. Results: Raised $800k in the pre-launch of the campaign.• Community Outreach Committee. Chair of committee for communicating with 40 local communities to improve our relationship. Through meetings and dialogue we identify common goals. Results: Working together has produced over $100M in grants and loans from NY State for water infrastructure in the Park.

Chair of committee formed once every 10 years for fundraising. Led campaign planning and strategy for six months prior to launch as well as the subsequent launch and execution lasting another year. Results: Raised funding for ten years of remediation for Brant Lake.

95 year old non-profit serving underprivileged children through Summer Camps and After School Programs.Roles: Vice President, Executive Committee Member, and Board MemberAs one of three members of the Executive Committee, have significant input on all strategic decisions and have supervised most of the functions as required.• Restructured Organization: Led strategic planning to overcome three major problems threatening our existence. The problems were; 2012 retirement of Executive Director of 35 years, aging infrastructure requiring major capital expenditures including a dam replacement, and reduced government funding. Results: Since 2017 we have been increasing capacity and now impact 1,500 children annually.• Directly Supervise Development Department since 2012. Responsible for overseeing cultivation of new large funding streams, social media, and all communications. In addition have served as Acting Development Director for periods when needed. Results: Developed 10 new funding streams producing donations of $3M including one time donations, several large 3 year pledges, new foundations, and individuals.• Organization liaison to Youth Inc. 2014 – 2016: Headed relationship with Youth Inc., which coaches and empowers other non-profits. Directed Celebration Fundraising Program in conjunction with Youth Inc. Results: Doubled donations for annual gala over three years.• Other Responsibilities & Roles: Supervised After School Program for 18 months, Member of 3 person Search Committee tasked with replacing departing Executive Director of 35 years, Endowment Committee Co-Chair, and Finance Committee member. Results: Enabled organization to survive and eventually thrive after overcoming multiple threats to our existence.

My prior investment experience enabled the group to see things from an investor’s perspective, rather than a broker’s, and this was recognized and appreciated by our clients, resulting in more business and credibility.• Meetings with Managements: Hosted four meetings for the arbitrage community with CEO’s and senior management from companies involved in hostile takeovers. We convinced Lundin Mining, which received a hostile bid after announcing its intent to merge with another company, to let us convene a meeting and they could try to convince the community of the merits of its already agreed upon deal.
