Managed staff of four professionals and coordinated the design, implementation, and support for the global content and records management platform based on solutions from OpenText. Supported the legal department through selection, installation, and support of applications used for eDiscovery, matter management, and hold order management. Selected accomplishments include:• Led multi-year project to migrate 2 MM documents in multiple subject areas from a legacy and outdated Document Management System (Cimage). Achieved $175K annual savings in software maintenance and elimination of 1 FTE in software support. Other benefits included documents being available in a supported platform and in compliance with corporate records management policies.• Spearheaded a project to gather requirements and evaluate eSignature solutions. Led implementation of DocuSign during the Covid-19 pandemic and quickly adapted all training, support materials, and change management messages to be delivered to employees working remotely. The result was a very successful rollout with a 186% increase in usage over six weeks.• Implemented xECM for engineering modules for Eagle Ford asset. Project successful in providing a more controlled revision tracking process and end users with a “single source of the truth” for engineering drawings and standards.• Managed project to upgrade Content Server from version 10.5 to 16.2. The 10.5 version was highly customized and didn’t allow easy upgrades to remain current with vendor software releases. Successful in removing all customizations while delivering on end user requirements, but resulting in a more sustainable platform for future, less costly upgrades.• Led efforts to pilot several text mining/content extraction/content analytics solutions and their applicability in feeding downstream processes such as document classification, database population or robotics.
