Cleared Derivatives Operations Manager• Managed the Cleared Derivatives Ops team covering post-trade processing and reconciliations of Futures, Listed Options, and Cleared Swaps.• Supported numerous regulatory initiatives to meet the needs of our broad client base while maintaining proper risk oversight (Mandatory Clearing changes, MIFIDII, Brexit).Accomplishments:• Helped bring the Cleared OTC processing in house to increase efficiency and support the rapidly growing business.• Implemented weekly risk reporting and reviews to provide the team with appropriate risk oversight and prevent issues before they arose.• Worked across teams to identify strategic goals for the derivatives group including developing a cross-product collateral processing utility and moving towards industry-supported 3rd party data providers.

• Continued to manage the Stamford, CT Setts team remotely through significant staff changes.• Drove high visibility projects for the team including nearshoring of 6 of 10 local roles to Nashville, TN as an early-adopter.• Wore multiple hats with different change initiatives including the opening of new Swiss and US legal entities as well as developing and implementing global integrated reporting tools.Accomplishments:• Managed the CT team remotely through over 100% turnover in 1 year without any financial losses due to team errors or controls.• Worked with global ops teams in offshoring, nearshoring, and change initiatives by leveraging my extensive ops knowledge and firm experience.

• Lead the risk/control as well as front-to-back teams which encompass CDS, TIW, Equity TRS, Banking Products, Municipal Client, Commodities, ABS/ABX, EFC’s, and AVI teams.• Manage, motivate and lead more than 50 associates of which 35 are offshore. (20onshore and 50 offshore at the staffing peak).• Play an integral role in the development of the utility processing model across settlements to boot process efficiency while also lowering costs.• Manage global processes with direct reports in both Stamford and London offices.Accomplishments:• Achieved more than 15% personnel cost reduction including consolidating offshore teams into a single vendor model and moving 100 percent of most settlement processes offshore.• Created user-friendly, root cause analysis that has lowered outstanding risk year over year.• Lead development of the Sensitive Client Team and a new client support model to improve service.

• Lead RTB processes for CDS Roll and Non-Roll settlements during the market trading explosion of ‘07/’08• Oversaw the first phases of offshore planning, training, and deployment for OTC Settlements.Accomplishments:• Lowered outstanding break risk by more than 70 percent by reviewing the increasing risk profile in the Sensitive Client CDS business and redesigning the process flow model to enhance efficiency.• Expanded process flow model regionally and globally across CDS Settlements as well as across FICC and equity derivatives, which created a settlements utility process format.• Consistently met or exceeded all PEX and headcount targets annually.

• Managed all aspects of the retail florist business including staffing, product design, sales, marketing, purchasing, merchandising, accounting, and operations.• Oversaw the floorplan design and layout of the store through contruction.• Managed marketing to a quarterly budget and reviewed sales figures and incentive plans to refine future marketing focus including organizing a fund pool with 3 other SoCal stores to allow for broader regional advertising.• Drove sales numbers up year on year focusing on weddings, holidays, local businesses, and network relationships to become a go-to order fullfiller for shops nationwide.• Implemented a weekly flash report to better understand sales and cost trends as well as customer preferences for different products & styles.• Used prior sales figures and a record of sales notes to project purchasing needs for each week of the year by both amount and product type.• Chosen as the online fulfillment hub for the franchisor's SoCal shipped web orders. Developed a processing "factory line" and tracking methodology in order to ship over 1,500 orders over the Valentines Day holiday.

• Acted as ops point person to review and perform process gap analysis of the newly aquired Energy Trading business (Financial and Physical Gas and Power).• Established risk reviews to ensure new business was in line with the bank's regulatory standards.• Managed the confirmations team that covered physical and financial natural gas and power products.• From entry-level start, learned every role in the FX Options team in 9 months and became team manager in under 2 years overseeing a team of 8 people.• Was the Operations lead for a primary booking name move from Stamford to Zurich involving almost a year of cross-regional project coordination across the entire process.• Accepted to the firm's "Associate Program" after a 3-day evaluation course at Warwick University in England.
