About Douglas Hong
I am an Associate Software Engineer at Veeva Systems, and I recently earned my B.S. in Computer Science from the University of California, Irvine (UCI). I am currently interested in full-stack development. To pursue this interest, I maintain a website called ZotTracker, which has 9,000+ total users and tracks the enrollment data of all UCI courses. Additionally, I was a developer for the UCI ICS Student Council (a student-run organization that serves computer science students at UCI) and ZotBins (a research group that promotes sustainability at UCI). I also have a substantial amount of frontend and backend development experience from my summer internships at NortonLifeLock and Veeva Systems.Besides programming, I am interested in tutoring because I love helping others understand subjects I am passionate about! In high school, I was a part-time math instructor at Mathnasium, a nationwide math tutoring center that helps elementary, middle, and high school students learn math. Furthermore, I was a lab tutor for one of UCI's lower-division Python programming courses.
