* Head engineer responsible for MEMS multi-layer ceramic (MLC) space transformer line, from fired ceramic to finished product, including travelers, process documentation, SPC limits, metrology plans, process scheduling, vendor management of outsourced processes, failure analysis, and rework / repair activities.* Performed the initial design, characterization, and reliability testing of an integrated probe card heater, targeted at qualifying a major global DRAM manufacturer, in only three months.* Led several product improvement efforts to reduce overall cost, complexity, and cycle time, including qualification of new materials and rework methods saving over $10k per build.* Responsible for both system and component level characterization and reliability testing of new and existing probe card technologies, including THB, HAST, burn-in, and thermal shock testing.* Directed systems requirements definition, selection, configuration, and acceptance test and evaluation of process equipment valued at over $2 million.* In charge of integration of several R&D fabrication processes and products into manufacturing.

* Led the packaging team, consisting of three engineers, to improve solar cell lifetime from 6 months to 18 months, and established the foundation for future success of the team to reach its 3-year lifetime milestone.* Planned and implemented standardized fabrication and test protocols to quickly determine the best performing materials, thereby cutting development time by over 50% and delivering milestones ahead of schedule.* Created test apparatus for accelerated lifetime testing to obtain crucial results in one fourth of the time.* Developed vendors, materials and processes to establish the company’s first flexible encapsulation capability.* Set up outdoor test and weather monitoring equipment to obtain real-world lifetime data, which proved the technology and allowed the company to secure contracts for outdoor applications.

* Took company from minimal SPC logging to fully tested and scalable SPC software within 1 year.* Solely responsible for implementing Eyelit MES software for tracking work order progress, including planning, system administration, report authoring, and training user base of 100+ operators and managers.* Designed and implemented custom data warehouse associating data from all enterprise information systems.* Supported all quality aspects, including document control of work instructions, travelers, and engineering specifications, outgoing quality assurance, MRB, NCMR, ECN, RCA, and FA.* Achievements served to mature the manufacturing operation, which was instrumental in the sale of the company to Verigy in 2009.
