Merchant Banking and Consulting Partnership in the Healthcare sector, investing in healthcare product and service start-up companies and providing consulting to high-cap companies. Core aspects of our work included:• Investments in five start-ups - a chain of drug treatment clinics, a home healthcare service company, a nationwide diagnostic service business operating in the dialysis market, a health benefits management company, and medical device and oral fluid diagnostic company. Three of the businesses were grown successfully and sold, two were merged to form Avitar which I led for ~20 years (see below).• Management Consulting to leading healthcare companies including Baxter, DuPont, Sandoz, Kodak, Kendall, Haemonetics, Creative Biomolecules and Nypro.
