During his 45 years in the electric power industry, Mr. Mader has worked in substation design, industrial power system design, protection and control, power system operations, construction and commissioning, project management, specification and procurement, cost estimating and control, distribution planning, transmission planning, energy management systems, specialized power system analysis studies, and insulation co-ordination. He moved to the unregulated subsidiary of Nova Scotia Power in 1997 as Vice President Engineering. He moved to Entergy Transmission Business in June of 1998 as Director Value Engineering, and in 2000 took over responsibility for all Transmission Business Engineering, Project Management, and Construction functions.
