I'm back in education. My workdays are divided between teaching technology classes for middle school students and maintaining/improving the technical infrastructure at Da Vinci Academy, a private Pre-K through 8th grade school in S. Elgin Illinois. I am enjoying my work a lot. My former job at Roy Talman and Associates had me looking for talented, technical people who are interested in jobs in the Chicago area and for developing and supporting clients of Roy Talman. I have successfully worked with individuals in the process of job changes or even career changes (something I've accomplished a few times myself).Prior to becoming a recruiter, I focused my career on various aspects of doing business on the Internet. these include: website design and creation, managing a team of webmasters, developing an eCommerce strategy for a Fortune 100 company, helping several schools and small businesses learn how to use the Internet successfully and, most recently, using Web Analytics to build a sensible continuous improvement model for Internet businesses.I began my career teaching Mathematics and as an administrator for several small schools. I was always the Math teacher who built a computer lab as part of my role. I left education to work in industry and spent several years programming, doing system administration, IT management and corporate planning.Specialties: Throughout my career I've always valued my relationships with people. nuf said.
