Patent Attorney practicing all facets of patent prosecution and litigation, with a focus on inter partes review proceedings and the prosecution of utility patents. Many of the patents I've worked on have included technologies from the automotive sector, medical devices, computer systems and software, and industrial processes and machinery.Prior to becoming an attorney, I worked at Maier & Maier as a Patent Agent and Technical Specialist while earning a law degree at George Mason University. Previously, I was an aerospace engineer at Siemens Energy and my work centered around the testbed validation of large-scale, gas turbine engines for energy applications. Given the multidisciplinary nature of the work, I was able to develop proficiency in a variety of fields including computer programming and software, mechanical engineering, fluid and combustion dynamics, computational fluid dynamics, aeroacoustics, testbed design, toolchain development, high temperature materials, and control systems.I obtained my Bachelors of Science from the University of Cincinnati, where I also conducted graduate studies as a PhD candidate specializing in fluid mechanics, computer simulation, and data visualization. I also took a focus in German language and spent time living and working abroad in Germany.
