I’ve coached hundreds of speakers to top scores at events such as TEDx and Forrester conferences. I’ve delivered world-class presentations myself to tens of thousands of people. I’ve run business units, too. But as Adam Grant says, “The question is not just what the world needs. It’s where you have a rare gift to give.” What I believe I do better than anyone: help people succeed in high-stakes presentations. I can help you structure your narrative, sharpen your slides, and deliver with confidence. I train teams and I work 1-on-1. Previously, at Fidelity Investments, my research team energized audiences about the threats and opportunities of emerging technologies such as blockchains and trends such as capitalism fatigue. At Forrester Research, I led coverage of many industries, including financial services, media and advertising. As host of 15 annual Forrester Forums, I guided presentations by and conducted on-stage interviews with the CEOs of dozens of major firms, including Yahoo!, Vanguard, Ogilvy, Capital One, Bank of America, and American Express.I’ve written or edited hundreds of speeches and reports. I’ve appeared on NPR, PBS, and CNBC's Squawk Box; I’ve been quoted in the New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, and more. Way back when, my nursery-school teacher wrote, “While sometimes shy, Billy never hesitates when asked to tell the class a story.” In high school, I was runner-up in a state championship for original speeches. Turns out I’ve been doing this my whole life. I've learned the secrets of great presentations -- and I'd like to help you and your team succeed with them, too.
