1.Team lead of the Specimen reviving and handling department - New staff training, managing the work flow amongst the staff, making sure SOP is followed by every staff member, reporting the problems to manager and getting a quick solution.2. Urinalysis - experienced with Beckman Coulter Ichem Velocity automatic dipstick reagent machine including deep clean and troubleshooting, and Siemens manual dipstick reagent machine including deep clean and troubleshooting.3. Knowledge of specimen rejection criteria and problem solving by contacting the respective physicians.4. Supervising 2 specimen collection centers include - Staff training, inventory check, cleanliness check, instrument (centrifuge, fridge, etc) check for calibration and cleanliness, and ensuring that the SOP is followed by the staff everyday.5. Microbiology - Inoculate urine and swab samples on various agar plates (Blood agar, McConkey agar, etc). Perform Gram Staining, and prepare stool culture/ova and parasite slides for the technologists.6. Procure blood sample in different vacutainer tubes based on tests requested, and perform ECG when requested by the physician.7. WHMIS training certification.
