Pre-K through 6th grade certified educator in the state of Pennsylvania currently serving as a 4th grade teacher at Unionville Elementary School in Kennett Square, PA.As one who has always valued the role teachers play in the education and well-being of children, I became an educator with the goal of making a difference. As an elementary school teacher, I have worked to create engaging lessons that promote creativity, grit, and an enjoyment for learning. With a strong background and interest in technology and engineering, I have been able to create a variety of unique opportunities for my students to explore digital resources while promoting best practices in STEAM. As a fourth grade teacher, I currently serve as the grade chair for my grade, and I have also acted as a mentor to both of my colleagues. While I currently hold my dream position at my dream school, I do wish to connect with teachers, educators, and experts that would be interested in sharing ideas, practices, and resources. I am always looking to better myself as a teacher, so any opportunity to grow is always highly coveted!
