• Oversee the earthworks portion of the project, including interpreting blueprints, calculating requirements, outlining footing depths, and directing subcontractor performance.
• Communicate with management, engineers, architects, and subcontractors to establish project scope, construction plans, schedules, safety policies, and performance requirements.

Fort Hills Project

• I oversaw the work of 200+ staff and a scaffold subcontractor for the Fort Hills Project. Directed the performance of supervisory staff including General Foremen and Foremen to ensure the delivery of all required.
• Led informal daily field meetings with subtractors, trades, and clients to establish work scope, schedules, and forecasts in order to identify and create solutions to resolve any potential issues.
• Managed health and safety issues, including conducting formal safety audits, investigating safety incidents, identifying root causes, and developing improved strategies for incident prevention.
• Participated in daily Superintendent meetings to manage work scope, project schedules, safety bulletins and incident reviews to maintain project timeframes and objectives.
• Managed on-site staffing and hiring, including communicating with General Superintendent and Recruiters to successfully fill required positions.
• Communicated project direction and expectations to subcontractors and staff, including project schedules, company policies and procedures, quality control, construction plans, safety, and additional performance.

Brion Project

• I managed performance and scheduling of two subcontractors (structural and HVAC) through all stages of building construction, including the installation of scaffolding, ducting, cladding and fans. Key Achievements:
• Managed on-site relations with the client, including conducting weekly meetings, reviewing scheduling issues, and resolving problems to keep the project on schedule.
• Directed scheduling for the two subcontractors, ensuring compliance with schedules, company policies & procedures and health & safety requirements.

Surmont 2 Project

• I directed a team of 300+ workers, comprised of multiple craft disciplines, including operators, labourers, scaffolders, and carpenters, as well as subcontracting firms. Key Achievements:
• Conducted multiple daily and weekly meetings, including HSE safety walks, superintendent meetings, and subcontractor scheduling meetings.
• Oversaw the coordination of required surveying, including communicating scope of work, scheduling, and safety requirements to subcontracting companies.
• Communicated with multiple other disciplines, including piping, millwrights, and electrical, to establish timelines and ensure completion of deadlines in line with project requirements.
• Managed the daily completion of time sheets and Labour Equipment Materials (LEMs) from subcontractors.
